The aNYthing glob pointed out a couple of “phoney baloney” Neckface drawings being auctioned off on Ebay. Considering Neckface’s ominpresence on the glob, we don’t question it. The seller writes:

Original neckface drawing from his Witchhunt show at the New Image Art Gallery in Los Angeles in 2004. The piece is signed on the back in pencil and measures 8″ by 10″.

I purchased the piece locally from a collector who had a few pieces of Neckface’s work.

It’s pretty suspect that many dozens of photos of the show’s work at New Image Art Gallery and Flickr fail to capture these drawings. “Original Neckface Style Drawing” would be accurate. They look like a Sharpie drawn parody.

If you were considering the seller’s “Authentic Gucci Monagram Clutch Handbag New In Box” or “Rare RADIOHEAD Autographed CD Booklet,” you might reconsider.
