Ol’ Dirty Bastard Mural Gets Dissed
Who would do such a thing? The mural of Ol’ Dirty Bastard in Bed Stuy recently got licked with a paint roller, covering Ol Dirty’s mug and probably rendering the welfare card completely invalid. It was just last summer that the mural was painted by Victor Goldfeld on Putnam and Franklin Avenues. So who done it?

This kinda sucks, i wonder why theyd paint over it, im the artist, if anyone has any info please email me, ide be willing to fix it up and make it look better, but i dont think this is a simple case of graffitti since its a roller mark. contact me by email vicgoldfeld@gmail.com

might be the city? some cities have taken the tactic of defacing street art as a means to discouragement. I have no evidence for this theory, it is wild speculation
