Introducing M.C. Problem Child
Being rich ain’t easy. The New York Times runs an article on Harrison Schneider, a Long Island-dwelling, aspiring emcee, also known as Problem Child. With the $30,000 of studio equipment in his bedroom and $100,000 of his parent’s money backing an album, Schneider ironically attacks the privileges and accouterments of wealth that characterize his suburban lifestyle. Proving the existence of a New York state of mind, Schneider can actually be “more ‘city’ in the suburbs than in the actual city.”
Since 2004, when he innocently professed, “I’m about the real spirit of hip-hop, not about money, ho’s, cars and clothes” Schneider’s outlook has grown into a more modern focus on “anything that involves organzed crime, women…or shiny objects.” Unfortunately, samples of Schneider’s work are unavailable for review.
Previously, Schneider extolled the evils of money (“Money is the root of all evil”), recounted clashes with other rich kids (“I wear baggy jeans and sometimes bandanas. These kids in BMWs their daddies bought them tried to intimidate me.”), and had an apparent identity crisis at the age of 13, claiming he was African American.
As Schneider attempts to succeed as M.C. Problem Child, we refer to the words of Ice-T: “Real gangsters don’t tell what they do, they just do what they got to.”

My cousin has a legitiment relationship with irv and chris gotti and word is the only reason black child or any of them fucked w him in the first place is because they thought they could cake off of him, which they probably could seeing how he is from great neck. Nonetheless, this kid is a horrible, whiteboy-sounding, wack, undeliverable rapper. He ain’t even a rapper. so whoever feels his shit, you are the typoe of people who are souring this music industry.
