Ol’ Dirty Bastard is Back on the Block

Last Friday in Bed Stuy, muralist Victor Goldfeld finished a memorial mural to the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard. The mural, based off ODB’s first album cover for ‘Return to the 36 Chambers’ was commissioned by Raison G. Allah, his cousin who is also finishing a documentary on his life.

Recall that in 1998, Ol’ Dirty Bastard rescued a girl from a burning car.

His work is extremely impressive. I recently saw one of his animated films at the Coney Island film festival. The audience response was very positive - you are talented - keep it up.
